Kids Song Writing Class
Paula McMath loves the creative aspect of making music and will conduct a class on songwriting with kids.
Students will be encouraged to take influence from songs they love- and bring their own voice to the songs they write.
Students will require a knowledge of some basic open position chords on guitar; G, Am,C D,Emi, etc. The oxford Children’s Rhyming Dictionary will be explained an is a recommended book for young songwriters.
An atmosphere of encouragement and support will be fostered. At the last class, we will hear each other’s songs in a song circle.
